World Poker Tour Hollywood Open Draws 143 Players

The World Poker Tour Hollywood Poker Open draws a total of 143 players to play in the event on Hollywood Casino Indiana located just outside Cincinnati, Ohio. The event has started a sponsored pro of Full Tilt, Eric Froehlich top the first day. He was able to collect a stack of 149, 400 chips. Froehlich has good reputation in the poker industry. Tracing back his records, he was able to join the final table of the 2009 Foxwoods World Poker Finals on the fourth place with $232,000. Currently, he is also holding two World Series of Poker bracelets.

It was Faraz “The- Toilet” Jaka who enters the Day 2 of the Hollywood Open holding a stack of 144,425. He was also the 18th placer in the WPT Bay 101 Hooting Star Event and has made two final tables in the roving tournaments series last 2009.

A cad-carrying member of the Team PokerStars Pro, Jason Mercier, also made a good play against the Full Tilt Poker player, Gavin Smith in the tournament. The top five players of the Hollywood Poker Open after the first day are as follows : , Eric Froehlich with 149,400 chips, Faraz “The-Toilet” Jaka with 144,225 chips, Mike Mustafa – with 114,050 chips on the third place, Gevork Kasabyan with 89,500 chips and Jess Yawitz – with 87,875 chips on the fifth place.
