At the first day of World Poker Tour Bay 101, two players came out leading the tournament. There was a total of 17 bounties who took the field with 25 more who are expected to come.

Greg “FBT” Mueller logged as one of the most successful WSOP showings in history and again is showing his talents in San Jose California which holds the Bay 101. Meuller in the World Series of Poker in 2009 won two bracelets. He also came out leading in the $10,000 World Championship of Limit Hold’em with winning amounting to $460,000. In addition, he took home $195,000 in the $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout and took the seventh place in the World Championship of Seven Card Stud after making into the third final table and earning $53,000 in the end.

From a hockey player, now the second leading in chips is Hoyt Corkins. After the first day 1A, he had garnered $132,800. Later in the day, Timoshenko dropped 6,900 of his stack into a pot of 10,000. This made Daniel Negreanu call and end up to the 48th place.
Unfortunately to T. J. Cloutier, he is the first Shooting Star to leave. He competed against Wade Griffith who at the end took the 42th place with 30,000 chips.
